A Case of Cleft Hand



Abstract
This is a case of a cleft hand in the right side of a 3 months old male infant.
Chief complaints were a cleft in the middle of the hand and missing of the 3rd metacarpal including the phalanges.
Roentgenological study revealed the loss of 3rd metacarpal including phalanges, shifting of the 2nd metacarpal laterally, and shortening with the hypertrophy of the 4th metacarpal. The cosmetic plastic repair was performed and the postoperative course was uneventful.
